Fine Art Newborn Portrait Photography is a special Art from start to finish. Every bit of experience, skill, knowledge, technique make all the difference. Being a mom of two myself and using tried and true soothing tricks of the trade to get newborns into those oh-so-sweet poses.
When to book...
Newborns are best photographed within their first 14 days, however can be successfully photographed up to 6 weeks. Newborn Sessions are booked BEFORE baby arrives, I recommend contacting me near the end of your second trimester. This helps us design your dream shoot without rushing and skipping important steps in the planning phase.

All sessions begin with a concept consultation. This gives me valuable insight into what this moment means to you, understanding the journey that led up to this major life milestone and what means the most to you. I want to know what your concerns are so that I know how I can best serve you and make this an enjoyable experience and beautiful memory. Together we will design portraits that compliment your personal aesthetic; we will cover color pallets and wardrobe, nursery themes and home decor.
What's included?
Merrick Imagery provides everything necessary for a beautiful and successful session. For baby we provide bespoke outfits, props, wraps and headbands sourced from all over the world. For moms, we provide complimentary hair and make-up as well as access to my couture client closet. Family portraits are included, grandparents and pets are even welcome!
