"If you talk about it, it's a dream, if you envision it, it's possible, but if you schedule it, it's real."

Portrait Investment
As a parent I have tried to memorize my kids faces, etch every detail into my memory. Try as I may, these kids keep growing and memories fade. Photography is the key to unlocking those memories. It is how we reminisce over our favorite people and their many milestones.

FAQ
When to book a Newborn Session? What do we need to bring?
We strongly recommend booking BEFORE Baby Arrives, preferably towards the end of your second trimester. This allows us time to plan and order any custom props, color fabrics etc. This also reserves the time on our calendar near your due date. Newborn Sessions typically take place in babies first 14 days of life. We provide everything needed...outfits, wraps, props, baskets etc.
Why is the best time to photograph a Newborn within 2 weeks of life?
Babies are sleepiest and less aware at this age. Once they move beyond week 2 their sensory skills are developing and they are now aware and alert. They become very sensitive to sound, movement and light. They also settle into their poses and stay in their poses a little longer within this time frame. Babies beyond the ideal newborn window can still be captured beautifully, however we can assume an additional hour of shooting time to accomplish the same amount of images and some poses may just not be a possibility depending on babies response (such as the head in hands -aka- Froggy Pose).
When to book a Maternity Session? What to Wear?
All Momma-To-Be's carry their babies differently, so this is totally up to you. We find most women feel their most comfortable and confident around the 33 weeks. We have a small Maternity Wardrobe available to you complimentary consisting of 5 Maternity Gowns and 1 Maternity Body Suit. If you are planning your own wardrobe, we recommend solid color flowing dress, one that has a little movement and texture…a beautiful float like fabric like chiffon photographs beautifully! A bold color will photograph brilliantly up at Red Rock or the Snow, while a light pastels look gorgeous with a desert or mountains scene. For studio Maternity anything goes. I love, love, love something artistic and unconventional that celebrates motherhood!
When will I receive my Finished Gallery?
Edited images will be available for viewing in an online password protected gallery within approximately 2 weeks of your session.
Can I purchase all of the images taken during the session?
I do not sell or provide RAW files or unedited images as part of my services. Many photographers view their work as art and providing anything less than our own standards is considered an unfinished piece. My company and my name are associated with all images released by me. I spend anywhere between 10-20 hours editing each session (correcting skin tones, blemishes, enhancing and adjusting lighting until the original image has come to life with the vision I had in mind when pushing that shutter button.) I focus on quality not quantity. I convert the images from camera RAW to high resolutions printable formats and configure the file and document sizes. I will not display images on my website or social media pages that are unedited.
Safety and Sanitizing?
Your families health and safety is always priority. All of my props are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized following EVERY session. I will not place your baby or child in a situation that either myself or you do not feel completely comfortable. With newborns and babies I ask mom or dad to be within arms reach as needed.
What to wear at your Family Session?
To capture that truly timeless look neutrals with a pop of color are the way to go! You want outfits that are not going to draw attention away from your precious family. I encourage my families to wear colors and fabrics that are natural, however we still want your chosen look to compliment your families style. Not too many patterns, but not all solids either. A great way to break up the “all one color” look is to mix up the fabrics, have some layering and of course accessories!
